Potter Bailey and Co. was a long established grocers within Worthing. It's headquarters were located on the corner of High Street and Ann Street. Several other branches were scattered throughout the town. William Potter, the founder opened his first shop in 1837,and continued in business until his death in 1896. Potter Bailey ceased trading in 1963.
